Snap Arboretum (Wed)

Arboretum location only, 10001 Research Blvd. (183) between Golfsmith and Target, next to GNC and Jersey Mike's Subs. Please call first, 512-346-5959, to make sure there is some surplus and as a courtesy heads up. Best time is around 8 p.m. Wednesday, but Snap will hold the food overnight if you call Wednesday night asking for a Thursday morning pickup between 8-11 a.m.

Enter through front door and identify yourself as KAF volunteer picking up surplus. Employee will guide you back to walk-in cooler door. Food will be sorted with the most perishable food on the upper shelf to help us manage the food supply. All food on BOTTOM two shelves is ours to take. If it's too much to take, start at the top and leave what you need from the lower shelf for the next run. Please message site coordinator or post on Facebook volunteer page if you leave any food behind.

Drop off 24-7 at Spring Terrace, 7101 N IH-35, Austin TX, 78752, near the intersection of I-35 and St. John's. Enter the rear staff entrance and call 512-492-8980 for after-hours entry. Staff will direct you to the third floor rec room, which has a fridge. A luggage cart is available to help move food, which is kept in the main hallway. The manager's office has an overflow fridge. Please keep a rough count of the number of meals you deliver and tell staff. Capacity: about 300 Snap meals
