Daily pickup between 7-11 a.m. of mostly bread from Upper Crust Bakery (4508 Burnet Rd, Austin, TX 78756 )and Mandola's at the Triangle (4700 W Guadalupe St #12, Austin, TX 78751). No need to call ahead.
Upper Crust: Knock loudly on the back door and tell staff you're there to pick up the surplus bread. Enter the walk-in cooler and look on left-hand side, bottom shelf toward the back. The bread is either in a cardboard egg box or plastic milk crate.
Mandola's: A trash bag of bread should be inside by the front door or ask for a trash bag at the cashier counter and pack the bread. Make sure to get large paper bags at the bread counter. Drop-off sites prefer individually packaged bread for easier distribution to their clients.
Deliver to La Reunion Co-op, 7910 Gault St, #106, aka The Commons. Please call 512-300-5559 in advance and knock on the door of #106, but if no one answers, ask any resident for help since it's a co-op so anyone should be able to help.
Overflow bread can be taken 24-7 to Spring Terrace, 7101 N IH-35, Austin TX, 78752, near the intersection of I-35 and St. John's. Enter the rear staff entrance and call 512-492-8980 for after-hours entry. Staff will direct you to the third floor rec room. Place the bread on the counter near the fridge. Keep a rough count of what you drop off and tell staff at front desk.
